Entrepreneurship & Technology Design

Accelerate your Enterprise

Presented by Pacific鈥檚 School of Engineering and Computer Science and Eberhardt School of Business, this technology camp will introduce students to technological innovation in commercial organizations with a focus on new product and service development. During the two-week program, students will receive a foundation in design, innovation and entrepreneurship to demonstrate creative thinking through the presentation of a variety of concepts.

Curriculum

Faculty- and technician-led presentations and labs will engage students in problem-based learning. Students will be able to develop science/engineering-based innovations that are scalable, commercially promising and will have a positive impact on society and/or the environment.

Dr. Heidaripour is a researcher, educator and designer specializing in socio-ecological energy transition. Her ongoing research explores future ways of designing and interacting with advanced energy technologies to support sustainable, equitable, and thriving communities. She participated in conceptualizing and planning smart city projects for sustainable and resilient communities and also participated in developing design guidelines for cutting-edge technologies. Her volunteer work for nonprofit organizations includes a year-long project for socio-economic empowerment of disadvantaged women in Kenya.
