Pacific Strings
The Conservatory of Music is excited to present Conductor-in-Residence Matilda Hofman. She will lead Pacific musicians in two concerts, October 9鈥擯acific Strings Orchestra, and November 8鈥擯acific Chamber Orchestra.Hofman holds degrees from Cambridge University, the Royal Academy of Music (Viola Performance), and the Eastman School of Music (Conducting). She has conducted music ensembles throughout California and in Europe.The October concert is a celebration of Pacific鈥檚 strings featuring works by Caroline Shaw and Jessie Montgomery, and concluding with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky鈥檚 鈥淪erenade for Strings.鈥漈ickets are available online or at the door 30 minutes before the event.
