Applications being accepted for sustainability projects
Do you have an idea to improve sustainability at 糖心vlog? Apply for an SPIF grant to support your work.
The Sustainability Project Investment Fund (SPIF) is accepting Project Eligibility Forms through January 17, 2021. The form is available on .
SPIF funds support projects that reduce waste and improve sustainability-related activities, as well as projects with economic, social or environmental benefits.
Previous SPIF-funded projects include recycling boxes, hydration stations, zero energy exercise bicycles and more in 2020 alone. Check out Sustainability鈥檚 to learn more about past projects.
Students, staff and faculty can apply for the grants. Students must have a staff or faculty member collaborating on their project. Multiple project eligibility forms can be submitted by one person or group. Project ideas are included on the Pacific Pulse page.
Sustainability Coordinator Kelsey Smith expanded on the process of applying for a SPIF grant. Is there supposed to be a quote from Smith here?
Smith is excited to see innovative applications for the grant.
鈥Last year we had great student projects so I鈥檓 looking forward to seeing more creativity from students,鈥 Smith said. 鈥淭his year has been unexpected in many ways, so I鈥檓 glad that we can continue the SPIF program the same as any other year.鈥
After the completion of the Project Eligibility Forms, full applications are due by February 17, 2021, and can be submitted via email to sustainingpacific@pacific.edu.
