A communication major can open the doors to careers in public relations, advocacy work and media creation. Because we live in an information-driven society, fields like business, government, law and nonprofits all need effective communicators to share knowledge with their audiences.聽

Pursuing a communication degree at Pacific will prepare you for a successful career by providing a strong foundation in communication theory, research methodologies, and proficiency in oral and written communication. This theoretical foundation is enhanced by practical experiences, including an internship and senior-year capstone project. You鈥檒l hone your skills through hands-on opportunities like Pacific鈥檚 student-run radio station and its nationally ranked speech and debate team.聽聽

Senior capstone project

This practical experience will give you a competitive edge when you enter the job market.聽聽
